Hello friends,
I recently got my boiler replaced with a new 'A' rated glow worm one.I have observed that my central heating starts in no time only when I put my hot water on.If I only start central heating, it doesn't seem to heat up the radiators.I have set the room thermostat to 22 C .Any ideas please.

Sounds like you have air in the lines and there is a vapor lock in the system. This is common in boiler replacements and new installations. If the air can be removed at a high point in the piping then you shouldn't have any more problems.

Maybe they connected the boiler to the wrong pipes?
Anyway you should have two circuits - heating is a closed circuit while warm water is not.
Have the company that installed repairing it - for free of course.
