Murdered! I only defend myself as bugs carry all types of disease of which many can make me ill and some can even kill me. Therefore if I squash a bug, it is only in self defense.

That's an interesting way to put it. Let's see, if a bug leaves me alone I leave it alone. If something flies at me I spray it with alcohol. If say a "waterbug" (don't know actual name) runs at me I kick it hard. I've sent a few spinning. If a spider or anything with long legs comes at me I hit it with a shoe or broom.

As a kid, I took great delight in dissecting living grass hoppers and burning ants with a magnifying glass. These days I let my predatory insects do my dirty work. RScott

Spiders,ants etc.

I actually let the spiders in my house go.I usually trap them with a cup, or get them to crawl on to a paper plate, and then release them outside.

If you have to, use you're foot!

I squash their brains out and then wipe it up with a tissue and hide the murder evidence in the bin, where nobody will ever look (?) ....

Yes all the time. Flies I swot or spray with bug spray, cochroaches I spray, ants I spray and spiders I spray or swot. Kill them all

My daughter thinks it's great to get 'em (especially spiders) in a jar & shake them to death.
