Whoa "Best Question" you have ever posted!
If a cold blooded convicted murderer saved my life, how I would feel about it,would be a range of emotions from exhilaration to life transforming spiritual bliss.
My whole life I have had a bit of a fascination with "murderer's,( serial)
From Ted Bundy ,to the zodiac killer, the night stalker,Leonard lake and Charles Ng,,Jeffrey Dom er,just to name a few........
I operate from a very mental plane of intrigue and interest,on many different levels of what makes an individual "tick" and perhaps "why" or the "how" of "how" their horrific fantasies have become their waking reality,as they themselves out fox,out smart and "outwit" the most intelligent of what we refer to as our most highly trained "intelligence"
Would I have anything to do with that person after the fact??
Yes and I would try to bleed them to death of all the intriguing things I want to know, the questions would be endless and a fantasy of my own fulfilled, and I would know why I had been chosen to be saved.
As I sing a little Dr.Hook......"gonna get my pic on the cover, stones, gonna send five copies to my mother, stones gonna see my smiling face on the cover of the rolling stones, the cover of the rolling stones.......
My freelance article, our picture and a twist of fate, that would make my career take off and his Karma begin to unfold, because I would try to help him be a human being.

well, no, i'd be grateful and say thanks, but i wouldn't want to be best buddies with him. I mean, it definitley would be a very decent thing to do, and i'd make sure that it was taken into account, so that some of the any remaining time could/be was cut short [like, x amount of years taken off of his having to report to a parole officer] BUT....... there does remain the odds of like.... NEVER that ever being a possibilty. If he was a 'cold-blooded convicted murderer,' then i'm doubtful he would save the life of a stranger. Had he been a convicted murderer where it was a crime of self-defense, or of passion, that's different, as there is some emotion and empathy still felt by the individual. But the kind of person convicted of cold-blooded murder, in the sense of... walking up to a 90year old woman and bashing her brains in for 10 bucks, doesn't have the level of empathy needed in order to feel enough compassion so that he'd be sympathetic enough to want to save the life of another human being. So, it's kind of an impossible scenario.

I would try to save the baby - mainly because it has not had a chance to life it's life and the cold-blooded murderer had made theirr own choices ( though they are bad choices - as we see them) The thing that is the unknown is the WHYS of why the murderer became a murder. Don't get me wrong- But their reasons to commit a murder may or may not have been valid - ex. in fear of their life v.killing to just to see someone die. But I would more than likely go for the baby - they are still a pure and innocent soul and we have a chance to mold this person into someone loving and constructive and productive. I hope that my reasoning makes sense.

Well I think if anyone saved my life i wouldn't really have much to do with them after. Yeah of course i'd thank them a lot. Send them gifts and probably send them chrissie cards ever year...but i wouldn't want to see them all the time.

Just because they saved my life, doesn't mean that they want anything to do with ME.

They've spent time in jail, so he could be a totally new person - who would I be to say that just because he's a murderer that he's always going to be?

If i was really nice to him before i knew he was a muderer and then stopped being nice because i found out..... that would make me a really big butt head!

how can a cold-blooded convicted murderer save my life if hes in jail? Either way, if he did, i would question the cold-blooded part if he saved my life.

I would be thankful he was there when I needed him.
I would consider him my friend.
During my life, I tend to judge people as I see them, not as others see them. I try to not judge them on their past, they have a fresh start in my book.
