We have already deleted alot of things, and it still can`t read my memory card. Why??? Do I need a Sony memory card or something?

If you are using a 3rd party or off-brand memory card, there is a good chance your saved data will become corrupted. I honestly have no idea why, except maybe Sony codes their products to only use SONY brand memory cards. It is worth the extra few dollars to get a Sony brand memory card.
I had this exact thing happen to me on my PS1 while playing Final Fantasy 7. I had close to 100 hours invested in the game, and because I was using a 3rd party memory card, all my saves became corrupted. I was devastated. Now I only buy Sony brand memory cards and controllers. I've found most of the off brand controllers are rubbish, too.

if you insert it into your system and remove it before anything loads or saves it can corrupt you data. memory cards can be kinda sensitive, so if you didnt remove it but somehow it shifted while still inserted in your system it will do the same effect. ive had that happen a few times and ive lost games due to it.

the one thing i have noticed is if you use a non sony memory stick it happens more frequently. other brands seem to be built cheap.
