It is pretty hard for me to get scared these days. I usually have to taken sleeping pills (I have problems going to sleep) while watching to actually become scared/paranoid. The pills for some reason have a mild psychotropic effect comprable to shrooms. Anyways, I tried watching one of the Traces of Death movies by myself in the dark and I freaked out during the scene where the politician shoots himself. Another movie is called "More than Smashed Pumpkins" which is basically footage of car wrecks, crime scenes, etc. I guess anything made up no longer scares me.

I was okay with horror movies for most of my teenage years (When I was really young I used to get a little scared, but who doesn't). But everything changed once I watched The Grudge. I don't know why it affected me the way it did. I couldn't sleep all night (that was the ridiculous part because I'd watched it in the afternoon with my sister and had studied for the rest of the day for my exam the next day and was still creeped out beyond compare). I kept the light on at night for an entire week. My sister tried to get me back on the horse by making me watch it again, but not only did I not watch this one scene that's really scary, but I kept the light on at night for another week. Ever since I haven't been the same. I watch few horrors now, and those that I have watched have always been with my sister (she's a horror freak) and always with the light on. It's sad.

well this seems strange but id watch a horror either early in the morning or late at night i watched these in the morning : silent hill scream saw 2 hills have eyes and i watched these late at night : the descent - too gory + scary one missed call - amazing but creepy the shining the ring - great classic scream 2 hills have eyes wrong turn jeepers creepers final destination - very gory saw 1 - amazing freddy vs jason chuckie childs play it the grudge the omen watching horrors is much better at night because its scarier so if you want to watch a horror but are too scared at night then you should watch it in the morning when its not as scary

Awwww well i've given up on horror movies as I get all freaked out for days after watching one. I've never seen The Grudge but apparently the Japanese version is scary.

"The Exorcist" by far. No other horror move comes close. I can watch any scary movie and sleep like a baby, but The Exorcist will bother me for several nights.

This may not be a horror movie but it horrifies me. I cant watch it without screaming and running around----Arachnidphopia omigosh just thinking about those spiders make me wanna scream now OOOHHH i cant stand them!
