I am tired, and going to sleep soon, so I will make this short, but it should give you what you need.

Balance your diet, get rid of fatty foods, eat high carbs, high proteins.

Work out frequently, hit the weights 3-5 times a week.

Run, sprints preferably. The only way to sprint faster, is to sprint, sprint, and sprint. If you can afford it, buy speed shoes, and a weight jacket. Sprinting with the weight jacket could considerably reduce your 40 yard time.

As for weights, a good target bench weight for a senior tail back would be 285 pounds, a good target squat would be anywhere from 385 to 450. As for height, your height is fine for a fullback or a tailback, so ignore the guy who said you shouldn't be playing. If you are below a 5.0 on the 40 yards, I might not try for half back next year, but fullback is within your reach.

Make sure to set a work out schedule, and to actually do it. The biggest factor in whether you can do this or not is your determination.

If you are 57, you probably should not be playing football.. But
seriously, you question is hard to understand. Perhaps you should rephrase. Weight and size are not the only problems with getting in shape to play football. Ask your coaches.
