I was 9. And my parents had led me to believe that I was going to get a suit that Christmas, so I was all prepared for the boredom of that; but I woke up that morning, went out there and there it was. It was orange--an AMF Roadmaster (with a banana seat and everything). I just about fainted.

I think I just turned 6? It was my first bike without those training wheel things anyway..
But it was purple and sparkley and had those pretty streamer things coming out of the handles.. and it had red and silver tinsel wrapped around it. And it had a white seat. I was amazed. It was awesome!
I was happy.
BUT then we went down to the park so I could ride it and I remember going good for a few seconds Then crashing down on the ground and breaking my toe.
I wasnt so happy then.

Hmm... That I don't remember. I must be getting old. I remember my first brand new bike, had to be when I was 10 on Christmas. It was white with different colored flowers. It rocked, that was when I tasted freedom for the first time.

it was a shiny red raleigh bike and I was about 7 years old I had training wheels on for ages cos I had no sense of balance but clearly remember being terrified when I had to ride a two wheeler.
That was the one and only bike I ever had my Dad was bored with me after that!

I think I was 6....I think it was green. I know it had these dangly plastic shredded somethings hanging off the handle bars and my dad clothes pinned some playing cards to the spokes so when I peddled it sounded like a high-speed moped with a hole in it's muffler.

4 1/2, but it was not really mine because we were poor so it was borrowed from a neighbor. It was a little yellow Schwinn with training wheels
