The biggest pro for going on the actual pill form of birth control is that if you have problems with side effects it's easier to get off of.

Also, the doctor will look at your overall medical history because some brands of birth control are more riskier than other kinds like with the patch. I've met a few women that did Ortho-Evra and had more problems with it (one had a stroke from it) than if they would have stayed on the pill.

I found the pill provided me with the most peace of mind and it was the most effective statistically. A friend had an implant but didn't like it and it took a while to work out of her system.
I tried about 3 different strengths of the pill before I found one that agreed with me the most, but some women are happy with the first one they try. I had no side effects with the final one I tried.

i tried microgynon and hated it as it affected my vision and gave me mega migraines!

i also tried micronor which is a mini pill, as opposed to a combined pill which was good for the first month and a half, then it disrupted my cycle so much that i had a 7 days period every 10days which was a bit of a pain!

im going to go back to combined pills if i can and try a lower dose. if that doesn't work then my bf and i are just going to use condoms.

I used the Nuva Ring, but stopped after about 5 months. It was alright at first, but my mood swings kept getting worse, and I started to get really bad headaches. It really depends on you though. I might try a pill next.

I've tried the pill, & used it long ago . they barely have enough in them to work & sometimes people still get pregnant, but the continuous taking of them will terminate the pregancy. ewww

we chose on our own to use condoms & foam, now condoms can also come w/the contriceptive on them.

or the dr can make up an IUD, which he puts up in you, no t allowing the spermto get up to your uterus.
