Click on my profile and my questions to view my last question about Dumbledore if you are interested. I would like some more answers, perhaps in depth if possible. I really want a good discussion. Thanks.

Checked out your profile...Yes, I think the goldfish is dead, too.
As far as Dumbledore... isn't he like the Grand Old Man...sort of beyond the downfalls of sex & seduction? I think he's above all that, or at least has weightier things on his mind. I'll ask my daughter, tho...she's a faithful Potter fan. (& I really don't think he had anything for Harry beyond fatherly & wizardly concern except that he was sort of using Harry as a tool to hopefully defeat you-know-who, which I thot was rather cold-hearted & mercenary.)

There is little evidence of Dumbledore being a homosexual, other than the passage about Grunewald's ideas exciting Dumbledore. So, we have to go with what Jo Rowling claims. In 5 or 20 years from now, she might change her mind and decide he is actually a hermaphrodite or possibly just bi-sexual or that he was heterosexual after all. She might even state that he never acted on those impulses, remaining a virgin his entire life. There is no evidence that he had any sexual relationships at all.

Even still, so what? Does his sexual orientation make him any more or any less important to the story? No. I doubt if anyone would dare raise the possibility of Dumbledore acting inappropriately with a teacher, let alone a student.

Nah, the books never really interested me.

As to your other question, it's not as if he was so gay he affected the whole storyline or anything.
