Life (the board game) has many meanings. Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
* Just when you think you’ve fallen behind, the college route pays off.
* Some stops can't be avoided, no matter how carefully you spin.
* From a distance, all people look about the same. But girls are pink, and boys are blue. :-)
* Everything can change in a single spin.
* Choose your passengers carefully: you only get five.
* If you don’t buy the insurance, there’s *going* to be a disaster.
* Every time you spin a 10, some jerk will claim you owe him money.
* You’ll quickly lose interest in “Pay days” and spend your time wondering why Life has such a crappy “spinner”.
* Stealing another player’s Career card is a highly amusing way to end a friendship.
And...
* By the time you finally arrive at retirement, you’re far too tired and grouchy to care whether you go to the Millionaires’ Mansion or the Retirement House. You just want out.
