Cleaning your pc wont stop people with enough determination from recovering the data off your hard drive.
Theres no complete security except destroying your hard drive.

If you feel comfortable destroying a hard drive every time you want to surf for porn be my guest.

Also note that though they are partially correct the above answers also lack the information about what happens when the pointer on your hard drive is moved.
When you store something to your hdd, your operating system recorders its current location, then when its needed it recalls that location, meaning when you clean the hdd and your history, your actually only moving the pointer to where it was stored. so that windows now believes its empty, this is why recovery is still possible, because if they ignore pointer info, they can scan the actual surface of the hdd for files that appear to be indicators.

YES.
You still have to delete the temporary internet files and cookies, which hold the cache, which holds the url in it's file name such as you@dirtysite.com
or
you.dirtysite.com

These just think of the last site you were at and do a search for that site's name in you desktop search bar for all older files and subfolders, and it should find that temporary folder for you.

It is safe to delete everything that is in there, just don't delete the folder itself.

You may get "file in use can not delete" if you try to delete all at once. Be careful here because, the delete process works from top to bottom, and stops deleting once it gets to that file. You will then need to select all the files after that file and delete. Don't worry, this particular file probably isn't one of them.

through cookies and temporary internet files.
dont forget to delete them also.

Also some dirty sites leaves program in your computer that is considered a virus. These virus opens windows of pornography automatically whenever anybody uses the computer. They are called dialers. So aside from just simply deleting your browsing history, you should as well be careful with this kind of malicious contents by scanning your pc with your anti virus periodically or better yet everytime after you finished searching for porn.

yes very simply actually. Run a search on your C Drive for Index.dat and you'll fine a dat file with your entire browsing history from the year dot saved in it. You can't delete this file unless you're in safe mode or try a free programme like CCleaner (google it) to permenently remove traces

Use Webroot's Window Washer. It will delete all the useless and privacy files. You can configure it to wash three times to make deleting secure and irrecoverable. If you are not an administrator in the computer, the administrator can track where you go and what you play. Using the window washer software will delete all those files.
