I don't belong to the "youth" anymore as I am into the prime of my life. But to my opinion, retaining one's individuality as a young person in a situation that is critical needs calmness and objectivity in staying control of oneself. Do not let the outside forces influence you, neither should it tempt you to forget the values you were taught by your parents. Take your time to digest what is happening and most importantly, do not be impulsive because the young tends to be rather hasty in judging and acting on what he perceives is the right action to take. With a clear mind, you can then think of a way to help or to get out of a situation.

I know what our country is facing right now. In critical situation like this we have to be calm and be aware of the situation. However, we must do something to be vigilant always. We cannot allow our leaders to rule us in corruption. The Philippines has again slide to a lower ranking in terms of corruption. It is really hard to accept what's happening with our leaders since the youth are centered on their leadership. I know the youth are still the future leaders of our country. The youth must lead an example based on their ideals and principles in having a country run in goodness and righteosness. We cannot allow our leaders to rule us out of greediness.

I know we can surpass this besetting problems before us. Filipinos our good at it. We still have good people around. Evilness will not triumph goodness considering we are mostly composed of Catholics. We have with us the good and noble inherited values from our forefathers.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

When your family has given you the best grounding, you will find it easy not go go astray. Peer pressure is, however, the worst of the bad influencers. The best way for you to not fall on the wayside is for you to be more discerning of who your friends are. And stay within a circle that you know shares your values.

A strong will and belief in one's values.

Standing firm in what you believe in will become easier, the more you practice it.

Have a nice day too.
