Oh, here in the Philippines, we have dozens of stories.

Some of them are:
"Tiyanak" - a fallen demonic baby that kills people.
"Kapre" - a tall, big, creature, smokes a cigar.
"Manananggal" - a vampire that flies, leaving the half of his body on the ground
"Aswang" - a vampire
"Tiktik" - a creature that climbs on roofs where a pregnant woman is present. He then pokes a hole on the roof and stretches its tongue, eating the baby inside the pregnant woman's womb.

Many of the stories where proven, and if you ask people here, they know it.
