I have a friend at work who is divorced. She is the one that goes home to her old house and takes care of the kids because the dad is ALWAYS at the bar and doesn't seem to care for the kids. Her's are 9 to 17. He still seems to think they are married. He wants to clean up her wedding ring and bring her back and she wants nothing to do with him. She got 80 thousand dollars for half the house and only supposed to see her kids every other weekend. Does not work that way for her. He calls her ALL the time while he's at the bar, and she can't even go have one beer after work or he gets pissed off. She doesn't know what to do. No, it's not me, it is my friend from work, her name starts with an L.

When I divorced my X, I got 3 kids he got 1. I'm not the same person since we divorced. Mainly because of the absence of my son.....I asked my x if we could co-parent. Live together but in separate rooms, he said no. I miss my family but i would never re-marry him.

I divorced and am living back with him and we're talking of remarrying. But it's been 4 years since our divorce and we didn't have a bad marriage...he just wouldn't work back then. I think it depends all on your circumstances.

I am divorced and I would never consider remarrying him again. I agree with you, when it's over it's over.

when you've lived with someone sooo long and think you cant take any of their crap anymore and get divorce because you think its the right thing to do at the time, and then after the divorce and dating others and feeling like this is hopeless, you really start to think and wonder, like damn, i got soo used to my husband that i dont think i can live without him.

I hate to even contemplate this question. I love my husband more than life itself. I can't imagine having to go through divorce. However, we vowed to one another that we'd only be together with each other...so, I got married once, and once only!

I don't think so..there's a reason why things didn't work out the first time, so I don't see the point in going through that again.
