Put the nickel on the end of the ruler, put the ruler over the edge of a table, and use the book to weight down the ruler so it doesn't fall on the floor.

ok...u can be reading a book, then use a ruler as a bookmark, and buy that ruler with a nickel...
or u can glue a nickle to a ruler and use that whole contraption as a bookmark
you could find out how many nickels could cover the book so you would use the ruler for measurements of height, depth, length (for book), and diameter and radius (for nickle)
im done thinking..but i'll ponder this before going to bed tonite (lol)
