Clomiphene citrate (CC, Clomid, Serophene) is often the first fertility drug that couples come in contact with. It is (relatively) inexpensive as fertility drugs go, it is easily taken (orally rather than by injection) and it is the first line drug used for ovulation induction in patients with PCOS and other ovulatory disorders. It has been used for patients with luteal phase defect. It can also be used to assess ovarian reserve or, in other words, the likelihood that a woman's ovaries can still produce viable eggs. more information is on the site below....

I took 4 cyles of clomid in 2004 and it helped me get pregnant with my daughter. I used it in combination with the Basal Body Temperature method. It helps you know when you ovulate, you can have a look at the website.

I got pregnant after my 4th course of clomid, and I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter, interestingly enough for my second pregnancy I got pregnant with no help, which was a blessing.
Some of the side effects were hotflashes, and feeling a little irritable, but it was worth it. There is a risk of getting multiples (but it might be a blessing as well).

Good luck, and you can contact me if you have any questions.
I hope you get pregnant with a beautiful healthy baby soon.
Good luck again

I did, clomid works for some and not for others, I have pcos and did 4 cycles of it, it only made my condition worst, my ovaries got larger then normal, and very bad hot flashes, I was also moody, some condition can be evn more worst, but if your lucky you would conceive.

Currently taking metformin
