My partner and I were having sex on a regular basis with protection and there was only ONE time which we did not use anything and less than a month later, actually the 1st day of my missed period, we found out that i was pregnant and im glad i did because had i not, i wouldve spent that night consuming huge amounts of liquor due to the fact that it was my 23rd birthday.....god works in mysterious ways....i cant imagine the guilt and fear i would now be carrying had i subjected my precious baby to that.

sweetie, you can get pregnant after one time. i have been on birth control non stop for 5 and a half years, and i just found out i'm pregnant. i've had sex maybe 10 times in the last 2 months...i'm just saying, it only takes once and even the most effective birth control methods don't prevent pregnancy. your best bet is not to have sex at all if you don't want to get pregnant.

Thats all it takes, well that is for some people anyway!! I think that normally happens to the people that arent trying to get pregnant, and the ones that are trying never seem to get pregnant fast.
