It has been both for me but seems more like I've been unkind to love so maybe I don't deserve it...

You are what you are, and love is not something that is promised or assured. Most people have no idea that they were in love until they lose it.
You can't "be unkind to love," as love is a concept of emotion. That's like saying "I'm unkind to happy." You can only be unkind to another living entity.
Life is full of lessons, not condemnations. You can sit back and think you are not worthy of things, or you can accept that you are what you are, and there is a life out there for you, the same as everyone else.

Lack of love it seems has been unkind to me. I've yet to experiance it outside family and friend love. But I'm sure when the time comes around I'll see plenty of both.

Don't be rediculous. Everyone deserves love. I would never intentionally be unkind to anythng or anyone.

a lot of unkind to me,rips my heart out and drops it to the floor with no remorse,sigh.
got so tired of faceplants I wired it back inside last time with a bungy cord,so it can just pop right back in! ; )

Both for me, too. I regret the memories where I have hurt someone intentionally even if it was a self defense move. But you have to learn from it, forgive yourself, make amends to the person if possible, and move on.
