I Would Use a grainy substance like salt and dish soap (or laundry soap) and I'm sure if it is pure white you could use like fantastic with bleach in it and a scrub brush. But I have a question for you. Did you kill someone and need to remove evidence. LOL J/K I realy dont know if this will work on carpet because I have never gotten blood stains on A carpet. I know it works on clothes though for small stains.

Also I researched this:

Another way to remove blood is to mix 1 teaspoon of a mild, non-alkali detergent with 1/2 pint lukewarm water. Add a small amount to the stain and blot the liquid. Do not force the stain further into the fibers. Continue blotting until no more stain is removed. If stain remains, add 1 tablespoon ammonia to 1 cup water (do not use on wool), sponge stain, and blot liquid. Continue until no more stain is removed. Place an absorbent pad over the damp area and weight it down. When no more liquid is drawn out, remove the pad and allow it to air dry thoroughly.

Oxy Clean and a damp bath towel. Spray the Oxy Clean on the spot. Wait about 20 seconds. Spray it again, then drag the damp towel accross it, pulling with one hand, and pressing the towel onto the stain with the other. Dragging the towel ensures a clean surface is constantly accepting the stain (thorough capillary action). This does not happen if you just rub it. Bleach may damage the carpet. It should be noted that you don't realize how white something "isn't" until you bleach it.

The NUMBER ONE method to get blood out of almost anything is to use COLD, I repeat, COLD water on it as soon as you can.

There is a product called "Biz" that also helps with blood removal, but it can't be used on some things. I don't know about carpet, but you could try a small spot.

Other people may give you a quick, at home remedy, but in case that doesn't work, or in the future, I would suggest going to your local dollar store and getting "Fantastic." It is used by firemen and fire damage restorers, at least here, to get smoke/soot damage in homes, but it does so much more than that. I have used it on carpets for all kinds of stains, in walls for smoke and dirt stains, on mirrors and glass. It works in every situation I have ever had and it is dirt cheap at a dollar. good luck!!

Make sure you use cold water (or room temperature) because hot water will set the stain and make it worse. Use Napi San or a really good carpet cleaner after that. But try with the cold water and napi san first...

A nurse taught me this one. Hydrogen peroxide will take it out of your rug. It even removes it from colored rugs without ruining the color.
