Oh thats right, because they lost last year snapping their BCS bowl game win streak at four. That one loss automatically means they lose the games from here on out. Excellent reasoning. So every team that lost a bowl game last year is going to lose this year? What happens when two teams that lost last year play one another? Is it a tie, or do they both lose?

I would strongly disagree with the statement that the Big 10 is pure trash. Big 10 athletes actually have to attend classes and meet some academic requirements to play sports and are in a different academic environment than the SEC. The schools themselves aren't as sports-focused as those down south. Look at the public school ratings (k-12) for the SEC states - they're just awful. The residents are too poor and subsequently too ignorant to fix the problem. Look at the pathetic collection of schools that makes up the SEC and then look at the Big 10 in the academic rankings. No school in the SEC can compare to Northwestern or Michigan. God forbid anyone would compare colleges by their academic programs rather than their athletics. Half of the morons who support these schools never went to college nor care about acquiring a decent education. Florida is like a third-world country compared to the Midwest.

To that guy who said they won't be playing Florida: well I'm sorry that the Gators actually have some challenges on their schedule. If you guys want real competition come out of the Big Ten and play some other good teams. But I guess you guys are a step up on your rival since you beat Youngstown St. when Michigan lost to a D-1AA team. So don't start sayin that your overrated Suckeye team is better than any real team. But you guys ARE undefeated, I guess the gators should start playin Akron, YSU, and Kent State.
As for the question, it doesn't matter who they play, be it Boston College, LSU or Kansas, they will not only lose, it will most likely be the ugliest national championship to date. However, that is if they "somehow survive" their "tough schedule".

in the event that they're the only undefeated group on the top of the 12 months, possibly. do not anticipate it. do not anticipate them being undefeated on the top of the 12 months the two. State college is a noisy place to be, and Ohio States offense has not been extraordinarily remarkable. The win against WashU is asking decrease than remarkable. they could desire to play at Purdue (not so undesirable) at Penn State (ouch) and at Michigan (can Ohio St run the unfold?) we are going to see what happens because of the fact the season unfolds...

actually if USC wins out and BC, LSU or OSU loses they will be right back in it. Oklahoma soft schedule is going to hurt them at the end of the season so even if they win out i dont see them going.

The Kansas Jayhawks would be the only matchup where I think they might win. The Jayhawks are good, and so are the Buckeyes...they just haven't had much in the way of competition. My kids are team stars in Church league sports, but sit the bench in City League. It's a HUGE difference in skill and competition levels. KU & OSU have only played about 1 game outside of the "Church" league.
We'll see what they can do before the regular season is up and I truly believe the polls will be totally different in December than they are now.

It depends on who they play. LSU would embarass them, but if BC goes undefeated then Ohio State could easily win. But BC plays VT thursday night, so they will probaly not be undefeated much longer. And Michigan had a good chance of beating OSU, but now that Hart is out it will be a toss up. Nobody wants an SEC school to play for the championship b/c we will embarass aynone we play.

Yep, they'll get embarrassed, because they still don't have that much team speed.
And Lord knows that if it's a rematch in the Rose Bowl, Dennis Dixon finishes off the dissection of Michigan that he started in Ann Arbor in September. Honestly, if the Big Ten sucks so bad that they can't beat a team who lost to Appalachian State and got annihilated by Oregon, then the conference should give its BCS bid up to the Mountain West Conference.

The semi-soft Big 10 schedule will hurt them in the end. Not to mention playing perennial powers such as YSU, Akron, & Kent St.
Can't wait to see them lose. Hopefully in the reg season and not a blowout in the BCS Title game.

No offense to the OSU fans, but most definitely yes. It'll be just like the 41-14 thrashing FL put on them last year.
edit:: wait, thats if they play a real team. Boston College doesn't count... They might win if they play BC..
