All Laptops require power. So you can take it with you anywhere, but it will eventualy need to be pluged into a power source. If you are talking about a internet connection, many laptops now-a-days have bulit in wireless connection. But this also requires a access point; ie: Wireless Router. Sometimes your ISP can assist you with this, if not I'm sure a service like the geek squad or something similer can assist you with hooking up a wireless network.

Every laptop needs to be plugged in sometime. You need to recharge the battery. Find one that has a battery that lasts long, or buy an additional battery

No laptop has a battery that lasts longer than one day in use, so you have to plug it in to recharge it. One with wifi can communicate without wires if you are including that.

Well, all laptops have to be plugged in awhile to charge, once charged then you can take it anywhere the law will allow. Just check a computer website like dell.com or gateway.com or hp.com...
