Okay, I am in University City and am freaking out. Do you think the fire will come through here? We are already packed but, I am not sure what will happen.

Are you in a current evacuation area?
(check-out the KFMB website)
If you are not in a mandatory evacuation area, your risk is really low. That should be a comfort to you.
So many of the buildings in San Diego county have stood for many decades. Other fires have not reached them. Consider yourself to be "safe" unless the police tell you otherwise.
This might be a good time to pray and to read or find something to occupy and calm yourself. If you do go, take a book with you. There will be a lot of waiting around.

Don't let overly dramtic people freak you out. If you are in University City you are fine. Take in an evacuee family or volunteer at Qualcomm. Count your blessings!

be prepared by having your most important bags packed, hope you have fires insurance, car insurance is covered..Ill pray for you and evrone else..be safe try not to worry..they might have it cobtrolled before it get sout of hand..

Go outside and see which way the wind is blowing. If it is blowing toward you it prolly will come toward you.
