The common misconception is that the Industrial Revolution was a rapid change, my opinion is that the industrial revolution didn't stop and is still going on, it just 'revolved' faster at the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th centuries.
Other historians have different views, some believe that the first industrial Revolution took place before the 18th Century, but moved slowly, the second one is often believed to have happened in the19th century at a faster rate.

There were Europe-wide political revolutions in 1848.
There was a social revolution as a result of the Industrial Revolution- people moving into slums in towns, fewer people in rural areas etc.

Current historians are leaning more towards the idea of no 'Industrial Revolution' in the sense of a sudden leap forward in Britain's technological power which enabled their global domination in the C19th. Rather, they are thinking in terms of 'industrious revolutions' - periods when increased amounts of disposable income led to greater spending and a growth in manufacturing. It is important to remember, for example, that at the end of the C19th, agriculture was still the top sector for employment for labourers in Britain.

G'day,
Thank you for your question.
It depends on the context. It might be referring to the British agricultural revolution that led to urbanisation and provided workers for the industrial revolution.
There were also a couple of political revolutions in other countries at that time - the American revolution and the French revolution.
I have attached sources for your reference.
Regards
