Ok tonight I was taking pictures of my neice and dog, when I started noticing bubbles in them, then my mom had to tell me that that's what spirits look like, so I did some research online after she left and saw that this was true, I have some pics and could someone tell me what it is! It's kind of creeping me out!
This is three pics of a chair, one taken right after the other at the same angle, and notice on the 2nd one that there are hardly any in it.

I swear I did nothing to these pictures!!! I don't even know how to do that, and wouldn't want to mess with the picture to make it look like that, I think it's creepy, and have never had this happen before while taking pictures...If you don't believe me whatever, but I'm telling you, I DID NOTHING TO THEM, look at the other pics, they all have bubbles! and the eyes, I have no clue, I don't know why they are 2 different colors, she has brown eyes

As for buying a new chair, NO that was passed down to me, and has many memories of my parents... Why don't you just answer my question, and don't worry about my furniture, you have no clue what that chair means to me!

"Orbs" as evidence of spirit activity is a dead idea. Dead dead dead. No pun intended. Even ghost hunters are now recognizing that orb-madness is a credibility issue. "Orbs" have been known to photographers for ages and their very natural causes have likewise been known for nearly as long. It's only after digital flash cameras (which are by their design prone to "orb" defects in the images) have been made very available to the public that all of a sudden the orb craze started. Why resort to wild supernatural tales to explain what is very understandable using our knowledge of light and physics?
See these websites below. Note that they are not "skeptic" websites, but they are fed up with orb nonsense nonetheless.

Pretty cool, I think. I always thought these were just dust orbs, but I take lots of pics and have never had any show up on mine. What does 'Ghost Hunters' tv crew say about them? If they are not transparent, not usually a dust orb. If I ever figure out how to cut and paste I would love to show a couple I've taken that are kinda spooky. Do you have any unusual occurences in the home? Keep us posted. Maybe post them on another site for analysis?

Ah, the "orbs." My family and I vacation at Pawley's Island in South Carolina every summer, and we always go to visit this graveyard that houses "Alice's Grave". (It's a very old ghost story...if you really wanna hear it I'd be happy to tell.) Well, this past summer, we decided to be adventurous and visit the graveyard at night. It was closed so we had to sneak in which added to the excitement. It is not lit at all and was very dark and spooky. We decided to take silly pictures with some of the different graves, only to find that all of our pictures were completely COVERED with these orbs! We would go to a baby's grave and take a picture and the picture would have a teeny tiny orb in it near the grave. We went to an area that had a married couple's graves side by side. Sure enough, the picture had a large orb over the husband's grave and a smaller one over the wife's grave. While looking harder at the pictures once we got home and put them on the computer, we could even make out faces in some of them. In one picture, we could almost make out the shape of an older black man sitting on a bench in the graveyard. We were all spooked for the rest of the night and four of us had dreams that we saw "The Gray Man" (another Pawley's Island ghost story) walking on the back porch of our beach house! So I'm sure skeptics will say it is just dust particles passing by the camera as the flash is going off- which is probably the truth- but I like to believe that the little orbs are indeed spirits that are all around us. :)

You didn't do anything to the pictures. What you have is ordinary dust and light reflection.
If you did have an actual orb it would be emitting its own light, not reflecting it. Even if you did have an orb, it is not an announcement of a ghost. Orbs are just collections of energy, they happen naturally. The only reason they are linked with ghosts is because some people noticed that when they had supernatural activity, sometimes there were an abundance of orbs as well.
There's nothing ookie spookie about the pictures.

Dust, dust, dust, demon dog, demon dog, dust, dust. Never take pics anywhere near furniture. They are huge dust factories. Never take pics after someone has sat on any fabric furniture. Never take pics when animals, kids, and a lot of people are running around. They stir up lots of dust. Finally, buy a new chair, that ones had it.
Edit: this is the reason why I prefer pics taken in the daytime. no orbs because no flash. If you get an orb without a flash, then you have something.

Alot of parapsychologists will tell you these are orbs, Sylvia Browne says they are always angels, personally I think that they are dust or something on the lens. My friend has some really bizarre orbs taken on her camera, but they are not flat, they are three dimensional.... I am still not sure what to think. Seems so surreal..... yet so explainable with a little investigating.
P.S. It is more believable if they show up on one frame and not the next.

Which is easier to believe, that you have dust on (or floating in front of) your lens, or that there are a multitude of spirits floating around your house?
Those blobs are from small particles reflecting the flash into the lens. These could be either floating dust particles or else dust actually on the lens itself. But don't take my word for it. Take the time to find out for yourself. You will get those on any picture you take with that flash. You will not get them on any photo taken without the flash. You probably wouldn't get those appearing if you shielded the lens to prevent the flash from hitting the lens directly.
Once you have discovered the true cause, please take the time to explain it to your mother so she's not spreading false information.

Try having someone hit the chair while you take pictures. Dust makes orbs appear in pictures, it is very hard to tell the difference between dust and spirit orbs. I've found that most orb photos are just dust or some other easily explainable anomoly.

I have to tell you... I take pictures and document the cemetery's in our town. I have been allowed to take some amazing orb pictures or energy pictures in the complete dark. The one thing that I've learned is people are critical and skeptical no matter what!If your chair was handed down and those people are close to you in your spirit....and they also have crossed over.... then I believe energy stays and reminds us they are watching over all.The one with the dogs eyes will definitely cause adverse response. keep asking who ever it is to reappear and ask them to show you there light, thank them and check your pictures again.don't ask jay from ghost hunters.....every thing is dust to him.......I'd like to show him a few of mine!good luck...and Blessed be

I couldn't see anything in the last one..but saw the others. Sylvia Browne calls them orbs and says they're always angels..don't know if that's true or not. I took pictures of my granddaughter on our trampoline and they showed up ..white spots. One house we were in one time...pictures had big blur spots on them..found out later house was haunted. Hope what you have is good. Cute niece..cut doggie...(need to put sunglasses on doggie next time !) LOL
EDIT...I didn't use the flash outside with the trampoline.Does that mean they're orbs? Our other dogs are buried near there...hope its' them. (No..I didn't say it IS them..I said I hope.)
