Ok so Astronauts are explorers, does that mean Astronomers are voyeur's?

Astronauts do and Astronomers watch so do Astronomers take offence to being called voyeur's?

"lithiumdeuteride" maybe if you understood the difference between the word voyeur and voyager you would understand this question, read a dictionary for the words then so how the meaning of this question has changed.

I wanted to be an astronomer when I was a child (of course there was no such thing as an astronaut!). But the math requirements were beyond my capability. I still enjoy reading about or watching TV programs about astronomy.

i don't think Astronomers should take offense to the label of voyeur. It's what they are doing...looking at someone or something else's world. am I wrong? that's a voyeur...right? it's probably negative because it falls into the "peeping tom" category. but it's not the same unless the aliens are offended.

Perhaps you should take your own advice and look the word "voyeur" up in a dictionary. The word may be derived from the French to look or watch, but the English definition is not the same.
