Another idea is to look for an AGLY (Alliance of Gay & Lesbian Youth) in your city where you could meet people your age face to face and then continue talking with them online. It's always safer and more fun if you actually know the person you are chatting with online. Also, if your school has a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) you might find someone there as well.
Resources to help you find an AGLY:
www.glsen.org
www.pflag.org
www.bagly.org (this is Boston's AGLY, but they have links to other resources that could help you find one in your area)
Good luck,
Tim, Greater Boston PFLAG

Maybe yahoo groups. But if you are looking for someone close to you geographically, it isn't very good. Being 15 limits a lot that you can do on social sties especially when you are looking for someone else gay. Good luck.

Firstly why would anyone want to seek friends on the basis of their sexual preferences only? Or for that matter beef eaters, chicken eaters only or people of certain height and color.
I would say be friendly by presenting yourself in a positive light. Your interests and talents and all. Then you may wish to declare that you are of gay persuasion but that you are not limiting yourself. If you so choose. Friends may come together on commonalty but it takes more than that to be or to have a real friend.
Best Wishes.
