How about intense hang-ups and the desire to run other people's lives? Anything wrong with that?

I guess it has to do with the so-called "culture wars".

krytox, why do you associate these things with selfishness and laziness?

Do you think hard-working people who serve others don't like sex drugs or rock and roll?

To answer your question, I invite you to come to Vegas. I will be happy to show you what goes wrong with people who get too far into the drugs and sex. The hookers and homeless are the victims of this.

As for the rock and roll, its a healthy habit, long you dont blow your pay on CDs and forget the rent.

There is nothing wrong with those things at all as long as people are responsible. I'm assuming you don't mean drugs like coke and heroin but drugs in the psychedelic category that haven't been proven to cause any physical or mental damage and have shown to actually improve one's mental state and outlook on life if used responsibly. The key words with sex and drugs are definitely responsibility and education. Rock and roll, however, can be done in excess with no worries!

You should have included long hair in your question too! People seem to think long hair is wrong and that people with long hair are irresponsible and can't be hard-working people. Stop living your lives with closed minds people!

take the lyrics of one of the mainstream songs she listens to and then take the lyrics to one of the rock songs you listen to and put them in front of her, show her how the rock song's meaning is better then the mainstream songs meaning(if it has any), and i hate all those people who disagree with rebellion, look at the world, rebellion is exactly what we need with our screwed up leaders
