My travel background includes living and visiting cities like New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, Tucson, Pheonix, Hawaii, L.A., Europe. So I've been around a bit, lol. Compared to these past places I've lived/vacationed, how would you think I would like Salt Lake City, UT?

I take it you don't like it there. lol. Good answer too! Lots of content. I really don't want to go anywhere and be felt like I was an "Alien" or unwelcomed. Thank you!

Nice place to visit, but you'd find it a little slow and quiet in comparison to where you've been

I live a couple of hours from Salt Lake and it is a pretty nice place to live. It has a lot to do there, but there a lot of mormons which is good kind of because there doesn't seem to be as much crime. Plus it is only about 30 minutes from Park City, UT and omg it is beautiful and very ritzy

Zodoz,
Well the last time I visited Salt Lake City was in the "70s". My BFF invited me to go along with her family to go and get the rent from her brother who was renting his mom's house in Murray Utah. So, we all went snow skiing in Salt Lake and I thought I knew all the ropes about skiing in Big Bear Calif. Well in Salt Lake, there CLIFFS made Big Bears teeny weeny mountains look like just that!! And boy was I intimidated at first!! But by the end of the day I was going down moggles, and stopping with both ski's together!!HaHa!! It was so cool !! But the people at the party's we went to seemed almost racist's towards my BFF & I. As if we were another color or something. We didn't feel very welcome from all of the party people or the town people, and we dressed as nice as anyone else did in those town's!! We had our hair fixed nice, and our make-up! You name it there just was no reason for their non-friendly attitude's!! And I couldn't wait to go home, by the end of our two week stay there!! My BFF felt the same way!! So, I wouldn't stay too long if I were you, is all. Smile!!

It is exciting visiting all different Cities, however, Hawaii and Europe are not Cities. I am sure that every City has its own story to tell. Go for it.

It's horrible. I've been there many times for business and it's a sad "little place"...
There's no nice restaurants serving at least wine... because Mormons run everything and they do not drink alcohol...
They make you look like someone from Mars because "You're Evil Because You're Not Mormon"...
And, in a blink of the eye you could drive back and forth the whole so called "city"...
Fake people. Full of smiles... but beware... True though.
-(You don't have to spend good money and time on that place... You'll be sorry if you go... Promise. I travel lots and my experience is this:
There's No-Comparison... Utah is h*#@...)-

I live in Salt Lake, it's pretty quiet here compared to most places. But you find the most peculiar/interesting things when you look for them. So, I think you'll enjoy it; I have.

It's a nice place to visit, but has a reputation for being dull, thanks to the large Mormon population.
