acetone -- though you don't want to get this on a porous surface, such as clothing
rubbing alcohol -- removes easier from a non-porous surface, but will work on porous without staining/bleaching

Rubbing alcohol works and it doesn't destroy as many surfaces as the acetone. Even though it's not a chemical, the Mr. Clean erasers get them off even better than any chemical.

Acetone, and it is a main ingredient in nail polish remover, but be careful, as acetone also eats through certain plastics (usually those with some form of acetate in it-to be safe, always test an inconspicuous area). Good Luck.

acetone, flaxseed oil (removes nail polish from oak wood), non acetone also depends on what you are removing it from, I believe out of clothing you can spray it with hairspray let it set a little and then it works out by breaking up the ink.
