Does this outfit look cute, ok, or ugly?

Top: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?catId=cat90038&productId=2350_5795 (crimson)

Skirt: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?catId=cat90104&productId=0317_1030&showId=0317_1030_553

Underneath the top I am going to wear a neutral colored cami, and as for shoes I was thinking about wearing just a simple pair of flip flops.

top: no
skirt: yes

for the top you can try this: halter neck white top and wear it with maybe blue cardigans or trapeze blazer.

flip flops are ok but not the best option. I suggest you wear flats/pumps/ wedges.

It all depends on your body frame to be quite honest. I know that how something looks on the rack doesn't mean that it will necessarily look as good on me. The shirt is really cute and the skirt is really short O_o. Age also factors in on the matter because if you're in your fourties trying to wear that type of ensemble you'd be dressing too young which would be a bit sad. And to flip flops ew. Anyway, my thoughts.

That shirt would be really cute with a pair of nice jeans or a nice a-line just above the knee fitted blue jean skirt with maybe a nice wedge. Sexy doesn't have to mean short ;) Good luck on the outfit, where are you wearing this outfit too? That also is something to take into consideration.

Cute outfit =) Just one question: Will both the bright red and bright blue long-sleeves be worn together? If so, it might be too bright to have both bright shades put together. I see that most of your outfit leans towards the red rather than blue. I suggest wearing the red sleeve with this outfit and save the blue to mix and match for another outfit. But overall, I like it! Cute bracelet and everything. =)

Nice apart, but not together.
Pair the skirt up with a more fitted plain body suit top or singlet and the top with a pair of jeans.
Together the outfit might look a bit fluffy! Bo Peepish

The outfit is cute, but I would wear leggings with the skirt. The flats from AE that you showed don't look right with this outfit. Pick something more feminine and less sporty looking. (It is getting a bit late in the season for flip flops.)

Cute, but I would consider a different color cami. I usually just wear a white cami. Go with the ballet shoes, not the flip flops.

change the flip flops to a pair of pumps. Those that look like ballet shoes.

I love the skirt. I think the top is unattractive. But the skirt is super cute.
