I found a product called Awesome. It really fits it's name. You can find it in Dollar General stores/ Spray it full strength on the stain, let it soak in for a few minutes, then blot. Repeat as the red coloring will take a few applications to get out. It removed magic marker from my table and ink from my white bedspread. It is Awesome"

Depends how severe and how long it has been there. Spot Shot is probably the best bet other than a professional carpet cleaning company which will be quite expensive. If you go that route ask them on the phone if they can guarantee they can bring it back to original color and how much.

oooooo.
your best shot is to email the Kol Aid company,
tell them what the carpet was made of, and follow their instructions.
OR
email the carpet company and get their recommendations for Kool-Aid,
good luck.

i had this exact same problem and i'm fixing it as we speak! this is going to sound crazy, but here what you do: you'll need: iron white cloth/towel dish washing liquid turn the iron on to the highest setting for cotton and let it heat get a small cup and put a couple squirts of dishwashing liquid in it & fill with cold water, then pour it over your stain soak your cloth in cold water (i'm using a wash cloth) then put on top of the stain sit iron on top of cloth and your red mess will start rising into the cloth! you'll need to keep rinsing the cloth, but it does work.

You've got a red stain on your carpet?
And what were you doing at 7pm on the night of the 23rd, madam?

Use Gonzo stain remover or Foley's. Then steam clean to get rid of any residual stickiness.
