Stopping Microgynon 20ED?

I've been on Microgynon 20ED for 3 months now with menorrhagia and bad period pain. If i stop taking the Pill when will i next get my period, and will it be back to being painful and heavy straight away? Cheers

It can take about 3 months for the body to adjust to being off the medication. It may come back as being very painful and heavy right away but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
