Are you asking why women get them?

Mostly because they don't want the baby or feel it is too inconvenient to have it at their point in their life. A lot of women are pressured by boyfriends, friends and family to get rid of the baby.

There is never a good reason to have an abortion. The baby is alive when the procedure is performed and so that makes every abortion a deliberate murder.

This question is really broad. What do you mean going abortion making a choice? I'll answer this question in two parts.
1) if you are for pro-choice then that's your choice. you are the one that has to live with the fact that you made the choice for whatever reason in your life. There are times when abortion is necessary. Just as long as it's not used as a form of birth control I'm okay with it.

2) There are so many children today that don't have homes why bring a person into the world and that person has no one to tell them that they love them or they grow up in the system. I think that is so unfair not only to the child but to the tax payers as well. We are ultimately the ones taking care of unwanted children.
Don't get me wrong I love children and have two of my own if my money, body and patience could do more I surely would have more then the two children I have I originally wanted 4 children but my body said no. Therefore I'm grateful for the two and I have one of each.

I'm a little confused by your question, are you asking how you'd go about getting one, or how it's actually done?

Look do not ask a question like that on here, cos you'll just get a bunch of fruit cakes claiming it's murder. I'd suggest you go to your doctor, they can give you the full details. But be aware, docors are people too and the one you go to could also easily be a religious fruit cake. If you don't want to do that, research it on the internet from reputable government or institution websites - do not get your information from opinion panels like Yahoo Answer!

Oh hon, I sincerely hope this isn't a decision you are facing, but if it is I hope you're sharing the stress with someone. In my opinion abortion is not murder, and although I wouldn't recommend it, if you feel you must, then you must.

when you go for an abortion- expect not to hear the things i am going to share with you.
1- first of all, your baby's heart is beating. this happens only 3 weeks after conception
2- at 4-6 weeks everything is there that will be except smaller
3- your baby of course dies, however an abortion can affect you in many ways
excessive bleeding- torn uterus, infections, failed abortions so they have to do another procedure.
miscarriages later when you want a child, or not being able to conceive at all
more risk of breast cancer if you have had an abortion.
if you want to hear about specific procedures you can email me,
the biggest thing is what an abortion can do emotionally to you- please consider adoption, if you are not ready to parent.

Your question isn't very clear.

There are many circumstances that lead a woman to choose abortion. Most abortions are performed for birth control purposes because the pregnancy was unintended. A smaller amount are performed for other reasons, such as to protect the mother's health, or if the baby has known genetic conditions that would make the baby "incompatible with life", etc.

Healthwise there are very few consequences with it unless something goes wrong (the same as any medical procedure - I, for example, lost several pints of blood having a tooth extracted).

As for mental/emotional side effects; studies have shown that there are few, if any. Less than 20% have any form of depressive symptoms and the vast majority of those usually pass. This can usually be better predicted if the patient has a predisposition to depression.

That said, it is the sort of thing you walk into fully knowing that you want to make that choice - clinics can help patients decide if it's a viable option for them.

Edit:
And what Christen T told you is a flat out lie.

You mean what can go wrong in an abortion??

Well first off, abortion clinics are NOT hospitals. There is high chance of infection and bleeding. If something was to go wrong the only thing abortionists could do is call 911.

I go to Abortion clinics and pray and try to give help to the women going in to get abortions and I have seen many times women come out of there on stretchers with blankets over them b/c they died during the procedures. I've seen women coming out crying. All of them look so empty and lost. I can tell you NEVER EVER have I seen anyone could out looking happy or relieved.

Women go through so much emotionally. They know they have killed their unborn baby. WE provide FREE medical help for the women and girls going to the clinics. THey aren't alone.

well some say it is murdering a human life. i personally do not think it should be used as a form of birth control, ie: whoops im pregnant gotta go take care of it....but
1. in cases of rape or incest
2 in cases where the baby is severely deformed or mentally deformed.
3. in a case where the mothers lie is at risk

I think those may be so ok reasons for considering it

Not only would you have to deal with the physical discomfort of the process, as well as the aftercare of having one, you will always have to deal with the guilt of having one done. If you tell everyone you know about it, you may end up losing friendships over it.
Years later, you will more than likely wonder "what if"...and if you're fortunate, you won't have to deal with the possiblity of never having babies again, some women who have them are not able to conceive later in life.
