ok i took a prego test my periods not for another 3 days. the test said negative..so i went to lunch came back and looked at test again 1hr later. the negative sign had the 2nd line suuuuuuper light barley visable..only when put to light and look hard at? 2nd test same thng ..

oh and the after 10min thng is b.s by the way . i thought i was prego and after the 10 min there was NO LINE at all..the next time i was prego and miscarried the line showed up 30 min later very faint..but not as faint as now..and got darker over time..so i just need to know IS A LINE A LINE?

Make sure and test using your first urine in the morning... It may give you a darker line because your urine is more concentrated.
But I think a line is still a line.

Be careful with this a lot of the test have a time limit on them and will show positive after it sits for to long. Read the box and see what it says. If not over the time go to the doctor to be tested. Mine was always light and I was pregnant. I even showed not pregnant at the doctors office until they did blood work.

Most home tests say don't read it after 10 minutes. I would say it was more like an evaporation line than a positive. To be safe, test again and read it within the limits on the instructions. I would recommend a standard one/two line test versus a +/- test.

The test instructions tell you that beyond 3 minutes the results aren't accurate.
Test again, and go by what the results are within 3 or 4 minutes after taking the test.

id try another test in a few days to be sure, but as i found out when i was taking a test every day because i was TOOOO impatient to wait and see ANY line means pregnant no matter how light, and yes mine too showed up later...could have been coincidence i guess but it happened that way in the very early stages

Read the directions! they say to discard after 10 mintues because a false positive can appear. It's just the test drying out. Retake in 3 days to make sure, but you're probably not pregnant.

Pregnancy test results are not accurate after 10 minutes. The line you saw was dye leeching through. Sorry. :(

a light line is still a positive..an hour is too long to wait to see the results I would take one more and make sure that both lines are there.

Take another one after you haven't had your period for at least 2 days. That's what I did and they were both positive :D

chances are more than likely you are barley pregnant but if a light line shows up you are pregnant
