I think the probability of the 6 CDs ending up in alphabetical order is [1/6] [1/5] [1/4][1/3][1/2] [1] or 1 chance out of 720. Since there are two letter Ms in mathematics and 11 letters total then you have two chances out of eleven that the first letter selected will be an M

the probability that M is arranged first is 1 out of 11. Because there are 11 letters in mathematics so the chance that M is first is 1:11.
