I don't like the style of rap that is around now, I like the old stuff better. The "gangsta rap" is just so monotonous.
For me it's all about variety and rap just doesn't have that much of it. I guess that's why I don't like it very much.

I can name a lot more music that is a more annoying noise then rap.

Have you ever considered that many people enjoy rap music and think what you listen to is just "noise"? Since when is your personal opinion the "right" opinion? Look at record sales. Rap music sets records consistently.

It should be! Now they don’t even have anything to talk about they are taking things out of menus, (chicken noodle soup) and comic books (superman) I live and go to public school in Oakland and I have to listen the horribleness all the time! I wish it would die!

It died years ago and that's where I left it.
My MP3 has ancient rap and tons of rock and a lot of 80s stuff.
I don't even know what's current. I am so proud of that!
