"Shallowness can be very deep".
I like it!
(To answer your question, no. Goodness, just when you think you've seen the lowest stupidity can go, you discover it can be worst).

No it goes deeper than the rocks at the bottom of the ocean. totally. The shallowness is more shallow than a kiddie pool. This is not a good thing to be, but the scary part is they actually are comfortable with this defect. It only disturbs those with depth

Acting is having the ability to completly instantly put yourself in the life of another. I think its amazing personally. You know heath ledger? he was joker for batman. He spent 3 months preparing for that role, stayed in a hotel room and would not talk to anyone. He litterally wanted to think like the joker. Which eventually led to his death because all though he did an amazing job in the movie, he became the joker so well he had night terrors and anxiety and one night took too many sleeping pills for it. never woke up. But yes i would definitely say acting is an art and is somewhat of an amazing skill when you think about it.

I have seen just about every degree of shallowness there is and think it can't be topped....but I'm always saddened to find another example to go beyond what I have already seen.

You knew the answer before you ever asked this question.
Once you think you've seen it all, damn, there's something even worse. You'll realize that as you grow up/older.
