America's prayer answered or a crazy populist

If you listen to what Ron Paul has to say, he is the only true conservative out there. Some of his ideas may sound crazy. For example, getting rid of the Federal Reserve. But, then let's think about it. The U.S. government get's money loaned to it by the federal reserve, a group of private bankers, with intrest. The money isn't even backed by gold anymore, therefore the value of the dollar keeps going down. It was worth more in our grandparents day than it is now. Not to mention, that a few bankers can inflate the money whenever they choose. He wants to eleminate the income tax. He realizes the only way that you can do that is decrease government spending. Changing forgein policy would be a good start. Right now we are borrowing trillions of dollars from countries like China to finance our overseas opperations. Iraq is a mess, and it we are making it worse. We have over 100,000 soliders over there, but hardly any here to actually protect the country. And only going to war when it is declared by Congress would get rid of a lot of these unnessary conflicts President's like to get us into that costs both lives and money. Then he wants to restore rights to the states. For example, he wants to overturn Roe v Wade and let each individual state decide what to with the abortion issue rather than the Federal Government. The same goes for things such as gay marriages. The local communities are going to know what is best for them, and not some bureaucrat in Washington. He wants to put education back in the hands of the parents. Get the federal government out of our school system and let the school answer to the parent's not the government. Here you have a man who preaches about limited government and preserving the Constitution and actually votes that way. The man doesn't vote for a measure unless it is expressly authorized by the Constitution. So, yes everyone going to paint him as loon or isolationist just to make him look bad. But, the man sticks by his principles and is the only one who will actually return America back to it's Constitutional principles. I think he is the best chance America's got right now.

Ron Paul for Vice Unitary Executive

I think Ron Paul, even without his positions considered, is a finer man than almost any other politician. His record of consistency during his 30 yr career is unmatched and he is the only one during many of these debates to not waste my time telling jokes or pandering to the crowd. Above all, he is dead honest even when under fire; his defense of the relatively unknown but academically sound theory of blowback was truly a profile in political courage.

I do agree with many of his positions but I think he is too uncompromisable as an idealist. His record in Congress shows that he would rather fight lonely hopeless battles than compromise with others. For example, I don't think he can accomplish the elimination of the IRS or the Department of Education or the Federal Reserve as president because almost nobody in Congress would support him.

Ron has good views on getting America out of the mess in the Middle East, but I'd like to know more about his views on:

- A woman's right to choose, and
- Universal health care, or at least health coverage for all children.

There are 36 countries with health care systems that are superior to America. It seems that there isn't much compassion for those people who are just getting by.

Ron Paul, regardless of how you view his politics, is the only person running who is thinking outside the box.
