i have tried with screenTop but its not working in all browsers. is there any other way to solve this? plz help me...

The quick answer is "You can't". PHP is a server-side scripting language and you are asking it to check on a client-side activity. You CAN run a javascript that calls a PHP file, though.

You have to capture the window close event in javascript, and in the javascript code you have to open the URL on the server.
