It's a really tough question to answer but I think Brady's 3 SB rings speak for themselves. In 149 games Peyton has
38,905 passing yards and a 285-141 TD-INT ratio. In 103 games, Brady has 23,689 passing yards and a 178-80 TD ratio. In 3 seasons I think that Brady will reach comparable numbers to Peyton.
You also have to take into account the fact that Peyton plays/played more than half of his games indoors. One of the knocks on Peyton and the Colts in the past playoff seasons was that they could not win the big game in the cold. Last year they didn't have to worry about it and look where it got them. The bottom line is both players are studs and the arguement can go on forever. It's like comparing a career NL hall of fame pitcher to a career AL hall of fame pitcher. It will be interesting to see how the season pans out with Bradys new weapons and a gimpy looking Marvin Harrison on the Colts side.

Dude this is an age old question that will never be resolved. The only people that can honestly say Tom Brady is 2nd to Peyton Manning are filled with nothing but hate for poor Tom. Fact of the matter is that Manning still has better receivers yet Brady is still blowing Manning's numbers out of the water. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Manning is the man when it comes to changing the play 15 times before the snap, but as for everything else, Tom Brady pretty much takes the cake. Forget stats and all that mumbo jumbo, just look at the playoff records between the 2. Last I checked it doesn't look too good when a quarterback is known for choking in big games.

Tom Brady now finally has the weapons that Peyton Manning has had the luxury of having for years. But dont forget Manning has not had the luxury of having a top-tier defense every year like Brady has.

I think there is an argument that Brady's cast is much better than Manning has had. Besides that, if you watch the games Brady has all day to throw and has been fortunate to get great RAC yards from welker and stalworth.
Ultimately though, I think picking at those little things is pretty dumb because when you do that, you can't really have any opinion. So i'll just say that its too early to tell.
Brady is on pace to break manning's record season, but when you're on that great of a pace - even one or two just decent games puts you behind.
yards % td int
4557 67.6 49 10 qb rating 121.1
If Brady breaks the TD record at the end and keeps pace, i'll say there is no doubt.

Where is any proof that Brady hasn't had the "weapons" that manning has had.
Who says the colts' receivers were better than the Pats before this year? Isn't a receiver only as good as his quarterback can pass? Yeah, it is the receivers job to catch the ball, but it is the QBs job to get the ball to him. If anything, I say now, Brady has a significant edge on Manning in this category. Before this I think they were pretty much even in the receiver category, but now that NE is full of all-stars, Brady looks better.

I'm with crzyholmes77 on this one.
Tony Dungy isn't a cheater and neither is Manning.
Patriot fans want everyone to believe that ONLY Belichick cheated.
yeah. right.
and what about the 4 babies with how many women?
Other players that do that are labeled bad guys.
Ask a woman if Brady is a cheater. lol
Manning got his championship ring the hard way...
HE EARNED IT.
EDIT: Just so you know. It's not Brady I hate,..it's the cheating that is an abomination to me.
Brady? I just feel sorry for him.

I guess it all depends on who you ask. I think Manning (individually speaking) is more talented than Brady. But given the team as a whole, Brady is better. In other words, if both quarterbacks were on the same team, I really believe Manning's numbers would be better.

We'll see in a couple of weeks. Will Brady have the time to throw like he has had so far this year? That is the question.

There are some drooling idiots near the Wabash River that might think so. But most sane people wouldn't have a doubt in the world.
Actually, I've always thought that Brady was better than Manning, before the Patriots signed Stallworth, Welker and Moss..

Brady has more weapons. It has been a major misconception that Brady never had weapons. He had Brown and Branch and Patten and others as well as very good RB's. And Kevin Faulk is a better Reggie Bush than Reggie Bush is.
