It is very hard to choose just one so I will choose one by each position.

Center - Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwan
He is the best all around center of "my time" that I have ever watched.

Power Forward - Larry Bird
Has there ever been a better "pure shooter?"

Small Forward - Dominique "The Human Highlight Film" Wilkins
This was a guy who could take over a game and has there ever been a better "in game" dunker?

Shooting Guard - Michael Jordan
Hands down this was easy.

Point Guard - Ervin "Magic" Johnson
He made passes that would make Nash look silly. A triple double threat as well.

6th man - Dr. J
It was very hard not to put him in the starting line up

I am sorry that I never saw guys like "The Pearl" Monroe, Oscar Robertson, and many others but they were a bit before my time.

The Doctor himself.

I saw him as a kid and Michael is good even great but nothing could compare to the grace, speed, power and the ability to slam dunk from the top of the key or a behind the back board lay up like

Doctor J.

Larry Bird or Pete Maravich. I like to watch players who can shoot............ T o Ajammer6, Earl "the Pearl " and Oscar were great players. Unfortunately, they have been forgotten by today's ESPN generation. There were many great players before Kobe Bryant and MJ. I wish you could have seen them.

Larry Bird. I quit watching the NBA the day he retired in 1992.

I'd like to see George 'The Iceman' Gervin and his finger rolls, Kareem and his sky hook and baby hook. Larry Bird and his intensity. Reggie Miller killing the Knicks. Lots more. Good question.

Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Hakeem Olajuwon... they played the game like it should be played.

Larry Bird. The guy was amazing - not only did he get his points, rebounds AND assists... he made everyone else on his team better. He cared more about winning than about stats. Sadly, it's something you don't see today.
