Ps1 memory card isnt working on my ps2?

Question

i really need help on this.

i just bought a ps1 game called Lunar Si;ver star Story Complete :D, but somehow the ps1 memory card i have doesn't work. so i really need some help.

ways to help:
if your ps1 memory card works, please tell me the barnd name
any other tips
what store you bought it on

It could be that you bought a cheap ps1 memory card....you need a good ps1 memory card. i had the problem one time on a game where i had the ps2 memory card in slot 1 and the ps1 memory card in slot 2 so by default it tried reading slot 1 only without giving me the option for slot 2....kind of like an auto-load dont know if ur checking the right slot or not.

If you are using an off-brand or 3rd party memory card, this is your problem. It's worth the extra few bucks for the Sony brand memory cards. I've had problems saving and had files become corrupted when using a non-Sony brand memory card.
