my tank is 55 gal. it hs about 40lbs of live rock. uv light, dry sump exc. if you need any more info just email me

That would depend on the species of clown. Clowns and anemones are species-specific. That's to say certain species of anemones will only host certain species of clowns - you have to find ones which are compatible with each other. Rather than "UV" you need to look at the intensity of the lighting - a compact fluorescent or T-5 lighting system is the absolute minimum, some should have a metal halide if the tank is deep. With 40 lbs of live rock, the rock won't be too close to the top of the tank, so you might want to keep that in mind when placing the rock. The closer the anemone will be to the surface, the more intense the lighting will be.

i have 2 clownfis in my 20 gallon tank and they host in a bubble tip anemone
