Yes and loneliness is winning. I'm just kdding.
Sometimes I feel lonesome but usually not. I am pretty much a loner so I actually prefer being to myself versus mingling with others. I don't mind having other people around and I am not shy about making conversation,etc., but sometimes it just seems to take effort that I would rather focus elsewhere. Does that make sense? Not that I don't enjoy others, I just don't feel the need to have others around that some people seem to feel.

No.. I gave up the fight because it was a losing battle and have come to accept loneliness.

I guess the first step would be to stop depending on him to bring you hapiness. It's definitely gonna be hard, but you have to find other things in life that make you happy. If you just sit around and wait for things to go back to how they used to be you may be dissapointed. It's always good to have people around for support, but sometimes you can't count on certain people and your happiness/life can't revolve around them. Learn to be self reliant or maybe even spend more time with your other friends. I don't know this guy personally so I don't want to say anything negative about him, but if he's the one who asked for a break you shouldn't waste so much time and energy on him.

I am trying to but I am loosing the battle I have been lonely for a long time so I have been fighting and struggling for so long. I feel like I can not keep going.

No, I have been single for six years...don't have a man in my life and that's my choice...I am blessed with exquisite friends and don't feel lonely at all...it's all my own decision.
