well, what kind of math?
algebra? geometry? calculus?
well the only way to actually get everything in your head is to read the book or go over all the assignments that the teacher gives you.
like for me, my teacher told us that she`ll give us homework and its up to us if we do it or not and when it comes to testing, that`ll show if we did our homework or not. So i go home and actually do the homework assignment that was given to me, unlike my friends who dont want to do homework.
just dont butt out. get some time to yourself and sit and just go over everything you did that day, it helps a lot :]
