What is a good med cost card for doing 3D modeling? The Quadros and FireGLs and 3DLabs cards are too expensive, and the GeForce and Raedon cards are for gaming and such. I'm thinking $150-$200 for the card, what should I be getting? I know a few things about computers, so don't act like I'm an idiot. Thanks.

There are FireGLs and Quadros in that price range, but are those the way to go? They are very low-end FireGLs and Quadros.

Infact, I can get used 3D Labs cards from ebay in my price range, still though, is that the way to go with this?

I'd go for ATI Raedon if I were you, it's for gaming and such but it's really powerful. GeForce ones that're really powerful and for gaming are pretty expensive
However, if you're looking for cheap and does the job, go for whatever S3 graphics there are out there, it goes up to 64 MB I think

But Used cards are good

Either a GTX 460 or above, i am running a rig with just one of these babies in at the moment and in all fairness, for an entry level card it has torn through everything i have thrown at it going higher to the 5 series of Nvidia graphics cards is obviously going to get a larger performance boost, but this gets expensive. With a quad core you will be good for a couple of years with a good video card in place. and all of Nvidias new cards including the 460 run 3D. Oh and just a heads up, running this will need a good airflow into and out of the case, and possibly a couple of hard drives RAID'ed so that access times are quicker.

Siempre compro en los sitios web porque tienen una gran oferta así que he podido comprar el ratón perfecto para los juegos y además un súper precio, un ratón con un montón de botones y iluminación, un ratón que funciona perfectamente, una excelente compra.

Hi. In my opinion, yes. Used cards can be a bargain.
