I tried to go on the Rockies website today to get tickets but of course the whole system crashed but I was wondering if anyone had any tips for when they go on sale that will up my chances of getting tickets. I can never figure out how those big ticket companies buy up all the tickets so fast. Any help would be great!!!!

Those big companies have a huge network of buyers who grab up as many tickets as possible. It's also suspected that they use back-end technology to cut through waiting lines and get huge chunks of tickets. That's part of the reason why Ticketmaster is currently suing RMG, a company that develops software for those ticket brokers.

Odds are that you'll have to be ready to pay out some serious cash for those tickets. Good luck to you when you get back online, but I've been through so many of those frustrating experiences that I don't like your chances too much.

The place I alwas end up getting tickets from is SeatBOT. They still have a bunch of tickets for games 3, 4 and 5 on their site. By the way, I bought Genesis tickets from these guys and they shipped super fast. I added a link to thier site below.

It's interesting that when you watch a game, and see the stadium filled to capacity, you wonder how and where all those people got their tickets. Well, they got them somehow and somewhere. So, why is it so difficult for the rest of us to get them?

Well, plan to spend alot of money first of all.

Check eBay and ticket scalpers. The only other option would be try to listen to your local radio stations and try and hear contests to call in and win free tickets.

Good luck!

EBay. Make sure the seller's rating is good, with lot of transactions - at least 100.
