I asked how to correct this. I took my computer to Best Buy and they checked it for free. Then they informed me my computer had a virus, in fact two. They removed them and now my computer works fine. I had to leave it there for about a week and it cost me about $200 bucks. So this particular Geek squad did help. Thanks all of you guys for your advise.

I'm glad you got your computer straightened out, but don't you have a good antivirus program installed?

Did you try to get rid of the virus yourself?
Next time, if there is a next time, go into Safe Mode and run your antivirus software. Windows will not load and you will hopefully catch any self-executable files.

If somehow you fail to eliminate the virus, then go to the Geek Squad.
