He told me "I'm going to marry you someday" and he constantly says that! Then he said "you know i'm going to secretly propose to you at the calgary stampede" i'm not sure if he was being serious or not but i just started laughing, what do you think he means? if he is gonna secretly do it at the stampede its not a secret anymore!
So with your experience what does it mean? Is it just because we're in love or is he getting more serious?

It sounds like he's 'testing the waters'.
Yeah hes getting more serious and saying things like that, is a way of trying to know how your feeling about it too?

You'll know when the real proposal happens. He's being flirty and playful. This is probably his first time that he's really felt this way and he's trying to process it..he really feels that he will marry you and isn't afraid to blurt that out. When the time is right ask him if he seriously means that....throw back the same type of comments back to him....window shop for rings for fun and show him the kind you like. Guys work in mysterious ways. He's probably old fashioned enough to make the proposal official with a real proposal and ring of "calgary stampede" proportions.

no it means he is jerking your chain and he really has no intentions of marrying you. the next time he says that tell him prove it and see if he really does. or better yet get a brides magazine and start flipping through it at rings and see what he does then.

He is giving you hints that he is gonna propose.
IF YOU ARE UNDER 30....DON'T DO IT!!!!!! Don't give in. Enjoy your 20's, then marry at 30. If you don't do this, you will regret it in your later years.
