how do you beat challenge 8 in the Challenge Of The Gods in God Of War?

I swear on my life this is the hardest part of the game, I've died at least 86 times no lie. I need help, i do L1,O alot and that helps a little i roll alot which helps alot,and i dodge but the ******* Medusas keep ****** wit me and i ****** hate them can someone please help me?

If you are fighting the Medusas, the best way to take them out fast is to grab them when the circle (O) button appears over their heads once you do enough damage to them and do the analog stick sequence thing where you turn the analog stick a certain way. If you do this, you can kill them a little bit quicker and you get magic from them when you kill them that way.

Another good way to defeat the Medusas is to get a few big hits in and then roll out of the way before it attacks.

And one last way to deal with the Medusas is to use the magic attack where you do this big shockwave of electricty, I think it's the Posiedons Rage attack. Also, I'm not sure if you have this weapon yet but, the Blade of Artemis is a good weapon to use against the Medusas because it does massive damage and it can kill them pretty quickly. I used the Blade of Artemis a lot to kill the Medusas.


Also, the difficulty of the Medusas will depend on the difficulty level of the game, I've beat the game on all modes and a few Medusas can get really hard.

Your primary tactic should be to use Lance of the furies(hold L1+O) while in
the air, keep doing this and this will eventually finish the battle. By the way
this one takes a while, so it will probably take the longest of all the
challenges.

If you ever do turn to stone, use your palm to quickly rotate the left analog
stick to get out of it, you can get out of it in most situations. I have found
that there is one un-avoidable death after you land Lance of the Furies, there
will be some time before you can move again and sometimes a gorgon will stone
you before you can, but usually you can evade it too.

Once the undead soldiers are gone this should be easy, just finish off the
gorgons with whatever combo you want.

one. Lance of the Furies should work fine again even after the soldiers are
gone. You can block every one of the gorgons melee attacks. They dodge
before they attack. They also don't take much hits to defeat. You can lift
them in the air with apollo's ascension(L1+X) and keep using L1+x while in
the air and that should finish them easily also.

Each challenge is different in their own ways, can you be a little more specific on the challenge? The best thing overall I can give you is to memorize your best combos. The best one I feel is as follows: quick attack,fierce,quick, hold quick. It implies a lot of damage, and can simply knock enemies off of the map.
